Hollis Dental Practice is equipped to provide Sedation whenever necessary. Our practice uses Intravenous Sedation, which acts quickly to make you feel calm and relaxed.
During the dental procedure, patients remain conscious and can respond to our Dentists’ instructions, however, they may not remember anything about the experience later. This makes Sedation an excellent option for nervous patients.
After the procedure, you may need some time to recover from the Sedation and become fully aware. After in-office recovery, you will not be fit to drive for several hours. Please arrange for a friend or family member to accompany you or collect you after the dental treatment.
